Trees Of My Garden 1 is a mixed-medium artwork on paper inspired by the artist’s memories of the trees in her father’s garden. The composition is dominated by a deep charcoal-black ground, from which textured green tree-like forms gradually emerge. Flecks of yellow, red, and muted earthy tones introduce small moments of colour, while fragmented lines and irregular marks give the surface a layered, memory-like quality. Rather than presenting a literal garden scene, the work reconstructs nature through recollection, abstraction, and atmosphere. The contrast between the dark background and luminous green forms creates a quiet, introspective mood, suggesting familiar shapes appearing through time and memory. Its expressive surface and contemporary character make it well suited to living rooms, studies, executive offices, reception spaces, and hospitality interiors.
