Portrait Of A Time 2 | Conceptual Elephant Art
₹80,000
This wide painting works best on a long wall where its horizontal spread can read in one sweep, especially above a sofa, sideboard, or bed with some breathing space around the edges. It can also sit well in a hallway, because the image reads as a band of dense growth and scattered light that holds together from a few steps back. The subject is a garden only in fragments, with tall blade like stems, dark foliage, and small yellow petal forms drifting across the middle and upper areas. And those pale curved marks near the lower half keep the surface active, so the scene feels less like a literal view than a thicket remembered in flashes. The palette stays deep and cool for most of the width, built from layered greens, blue green shadows, and near black passages, while the yellow accents land like brief points of light against the darker ground. As an acrylic painting, My Wonderland appears to use wet over dry layers, loose vertical dragging, and thin veils of color that let earlier strokes show through, which gives the surface a damp, overgrown feel even where the brushwork is sketchy. This is wrong for a tiny room already crowded with pattern, or for a bright, crisp interior that needs clean edges and lots of white space.
