Portrait Of A Time 2 | Conceptual Elephant Art
₹80,000
A moody atmosphere builds from the dark ground and the tangle of green forms that push forward in uneven light. In My Father's Garden 2, the technique looks layered and restless, with splattered marks, scraped passages, and translucent botanical shapes crossing over one another until the surface feels packed and deep. Some strokes read as thin vines, others as cut leaf silhouettes, and one long, dotted curve snakes through the center and keeps the eye moving. The palette stays close to deep teal, black, moss, and acid green, with small hits of rusty red and blue tucked into the thicket. But the brighter greens do most of the work, because they flash against the shadowed background and give the image its strongest tension. The subject is botanical without settling into a single plant, so the garden appears as memory, growth, and overgrowth at once. This is better on a larger wall where the full spread of marks can breathe, since a tight corner would compress the image and make its darker passages feel heavy. The surface reads as layered mixed media with a matte look.
