About the artwork

A circular mandala dominates the image. The subject is a dense arrangement of concentric floral and geometric forms, and the title Chakra fits the repeated ring structure at the center. It sits squarely in the middle of a larger round field, with smaller partial mandala segments pressing in from the edges so the whole surface feels packed and deliberate. Fine black linework builds each petal, arc, and scalloped band, while the raised inner circle creates a shallow overlap that reads almost like a stacked paper cutout, because the shadowed rim separates it from the surrounding pattern. And the palette stays strictly in grey, black, and white, which keeps the detail crisp instead of noisy. Some areas look smooth from a distance. Up close, the surface reads as layered and closely worked. This piece needs open wall space where the full round outline can stay visible without furniture cutting across its lower edge.
