About the artwork

A cheerful mood comes from the tight cluster of orange rose forms and the centered, circular layout. The subject is a group of three stylized flowers, built from rolled strips that spiral inward and overlap in a compact bunch. Their rounded petals read clearly as roses, while the circular backing keeps the whole image steady and easy to read at a glance. The palette stays narrow, with orange and amber tones over a tan base, and that limited color range helps the piece feel warm instead of loud. Some edges catch light, so the petal surfaces look slightly glossy against the drier ridges of the backing. The technique appears handmade and direct. Rolled paper coils, layered strips, and raised contours create shallow relief, which gives the work more shadow and surface change than a flat painting would. And the newspaper under it makes that hand-assembled process even more apparent, because stray glue sheen and uneven petal edges remain visible. This suits informal spaces such as a kids room, hallway, or casual bedroom wall, but it's wrong for a formal dining room or a spare minimalist office where the craft texture would feel too busy.
