Beautifully vivid turquoise-blue flycatcher. Adult male has dark lores. Juvenile is duller, with noticeably grayer underparts. Sits upright on exposed perches. Found in lowland and hill forests and forest edges. Song is high and undulating phrase of burry or trilled notes. Most common call is a strident “wheet!”

For most of my professional life, I have worked in the world of technology, helping shape digital platforms and transformation journeys. Photography offers a different perspective—one measured not in deadlines and data, but in patience, light, and observation. Drawn particularly to birds and wild landscapes, I spend time exploring diverse habitats across India and beyond. This collection is a reflection of those journey and the remarkable moments nature reveals to those willing to wait.
