About the artwork

A calm stillness settles over this scene because the pale sky hangs evenly above a broad, nearly empty field. The photograph uses a high horizon line and deep focus to keep the eye moving across low bands of ground cover, while the open upper half slows the pace and leaves a lot of visual air in the frame. Yellow flowers sit against green and purple patches, and the colors stay muted instead of sharp, which keeps the image soft even where the blossoms gather thickly near the front edge. The subject is a flower-dotted wetland or meadow with no buildings, figures, or trees to interrupt the spread of land. And that makes Photograph best suited to spaces that benefit from quiet horizontal movement, especially a bedroom, hallway, or a living room with enough wall around it for the sky to read clearly. The surface reads as a smooth photographic print.

Parth Sable

I’m Parth Sable, an architect based between Dapoli and Pune, Maharashtra. My love for photography comes from my curiosity to observe and capture the world around me. I enjoy photographing landscapes, architecture, and wildlife, with a focus on light, composition, textures, and the character of a place. Living close to the Konkan landscape constantly inspires me to explore, travel, and capture fleeting moments through my lens.
