About the artwork

The sea fills most of the Photograph. The palette moves from soft orange at the cloud edge to mauve, violet, and muted blue gray across the sky and water. Near the bottom edge, the dark shoreline and its thin reflective strip anchor the frame, while the horizon sits high enough to give the water most of the visual space. Three small figures stand in the shallows, and their scale makes the open water feel broader and more still than a closer view would. And the camera keeps them tiny, almost silhouette-like, so the scene reads first as a calm seascape and only then as a beach moment with people. The image relies on natural low light, a distant viewpoint, and a clean horizontal structure, with fine ripples on the surface and soft tonal transitions that are characteristic of color photography. The surface appears smooth.

Parth Sable

I’m Parth Sable, an architect based between Dapoli and Pune, Maharashtra. My love for photography comes from my curiosity to observe and capture the world around me. I enjoy photographing landscapes, architecture, and wildlife, with a focus on light, composition, textures, and the character of a place. Living close to the Konkan landscape constantly inspires me to explore, travel, and capture fleeting moments through my lens.
