About the artwork

A nilgai reaching up toward a thin hanging branch dominates the frame. The animal is shown in profile on the left, neck extended and muzzle lifted, while a slender tree rises on the right and its green foliage spills across the upper half of the image. Nilgai Reaching For Tree Foliage | Wildlife Photography uses a shallow depth of field to hold the eye on the animal's head and the small cluster of leaves, and the background falls into a soft blur that keeps distant brush from breaking the scene, which makes the feeding gesture feel immediate. The palette stays restrained with dusty brown grass, grey blue haze, dark bark, and light spring green leaflets. And the quiet surface and natural tones suit spaces that need a steady visual rhythm. But this would be wrong for a kids_room or for a loud dining area with bright patterned walls.
