A tiger stands chest deep in still water and stares straight ahead. Fine art wildlife photography drives the image, using a tight central crop, crisp focus on the face, and a dark low key exposure that keeps the waterline and mirrored form clear without opening up the background too much. The subject is the tiger alone, and the title Tiger Reflection In Water names exactly what appears, with pale eyes, wet whiskers, a pink nose, and black stripes cutting across orange fur. And the animal is placed dead center, almost symmetrical from ear to ear, while the reflection sits directly beneath it and soft ripples blur the lower features just enough to stop the image from feeling static. The palette stays narrow and forceful, with burnt orange, black, white, and deep green black water carrying most of the frame. This works best on a statement wall with enough viewing distance for the eyes and reflection to lock together.
