About the artwork

The tiger is placed in the upper left, small against a wide field of soft blur and still water. Its head turns slightly toward the camera, while the striped back sinks into the pond and the bank behind it stays muted and grey. The title Life Of Stripes fits the scene closely. Warm yellow green tones spread across the right side, while the water and stones hold cooler grey and brown notes that keep the palette restrained. So the color contrast feels low in noise but still clear in direction, with the animal's orange coat carrying the main charge inside a frame built from haze, reflection, and blocked sightlines. Focus falls sharply on the face and upper body, and the rest dissolves through shallow depth of field and a heavy foreground veil. That photographic approach gives the picture a watchful distance instead of raw impact. It is wrong for a kids_room or any tight spot that needs crisp detail from across the room.

Indranil BasuMallick

I work as software professional for a UK based Investment bank which helps me to take care of my monthly bills and daily meals. But my passion for life lies deep within nature. Photography acts as a medium to get connected to the mother of all. Witnessing a beautiful moment and an amazing wildlife behaviour is just an act of god and to capture the same for eternity gives me an adrenaline rush for which I would like to live.
