About the artwork

A snow leopard moves across a broad slope of white snow. The palette stays almost entirely in pale white and cool gray, with soft shadows cut into the drifts and darker rosettes breaking the field at the animal's back and tail. The title Ghost In Snow fits the reduced range well. The cat sits near the center of the frame, slightly low against a wide expanse of empty ground, and its track runs back in a loose line that holds the eye without crowding the scene. Small ridges in the snow repeat across the lower area. And the animal's lowered head, lifted forepaw, and forward stare make the stillness feel taut. The image reads as a wildlife photograph with crisp detail on the fur and a bright exposure that keeps the snow clean while preserving shallow blue-gray contour in the surface, which makes the print appear smooth and matte.

I work as software professional for a UK based Investment bank which helps me to take care of my monthly bills and daily meals. But my passion for life lies deep within nature. Photography acts as a medium to get connected to the mother of all. Witnessing a beautiful moment and an amazing wildlife behaviour is just an act of god and to capture the same for eternity gives me an adrenaline rush for which I would like to live.
