About the artwork

A blue Ganesha fills the center of Harmony Of Blue Ganesha. The painting uses smooth transitions in the skin, crisp outlines around jewelry, and small repeating bands of ornament, while the background stays loosely mottled with visible tonal shifts that keep the flat field from turning dead. The subject is a seated deity with an elephant head, four arms, pink lotus flowers, and a stringed instrument held across the lap. And the pose feels steady and frontal, because the limbs spread outward in a near mirror arrangement while the instrument sets a vertical axis through the middle. Gold, saffron, cream, white, and deep blue carry the whole image, with the cool body set hard against a warm yellow ground that makes the figure read quickly even from across a room. This works best where devotional imagery is welcome, and it's wrong for a kids_room or a secular office that avoids religious subjects.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Vikrant Karyakarte

Vikrant Karyakarte

I am Vikrant P. Karyakarte, a professional artist with over 14 years of experience. Painting has been my passion since childhood and my chosen profession. For me, painting is not just applying colour on canvas; it is a way to express what I see, feel, and think. I work across subjects and styles, especially nature, animals, vehicles, and Lord Ganesha. I have also created historical series on Shivcharitra, the Goa Inquisition, and Aryabhatta. My works have been exhibited in India and abroad.
