Village Of Memories
₹59,600
At first glance, the water looks calm. Deep blue stretches across the canvas, and the scene feels still. Then your eye drops to the shoreline, where plastic waste piles up against the sand. A single fish swims beneath the surface, small and unaware. Ships cross the water, and a city skyline sits on the horizon. Vikrant Karyakarte puts the source of the damage in the frame and leaves you to connect it to your own daily habits. That contrast between calm and consequence gives Drowning Oceans its weight. It doesn't lecture. It makes you look twice, and people stop to talk about it. Where it works Living room: a conversation piece that gives guests something real to discuss Office or studio: a focal wall that signals your values to clients and teams Schools and learning spaces: art that opens a conversation about consumption and the environment

I am Vikrant P. Karyakarte, a professional artist with over 14 years of experience. Painting has been my passion since childhood and my chosen profession. For me, painting is not just applying colour on canvas; it is a way to express what I see, feel, and think. I work across subjects and styles, especially nature, animals, vehicles, and Lord Ganesha. I have also created historical series on Shivcharitra, the Goa Inquisition, and Aryabhatta. My works have been exhibited in India and abroad.
