Village Of Memories
₹59,600
The painting uses dense stippled mark making, with tiny speckled touches building the figure, the tanpura, and the ornaments into a textured surface that looks dry and granular against the flat black field. White, cream, ochre, and reddish brown carry the whole image, while the small lotus blooms add soft pale accents that break the darker center. In Ganesha With Tanpura, the elephant headed deity sits cross legged with four arms, holding the instrument upright and lifting two flowers outward, so the pose feels both still and ceremonial at once. And the placement is strict and frontal, with the body and instrument locked near the middle, which gives the picture enough visual weight for a clear wall and enough dark surround to keep nearby decor from crowding it. It needs open space around it, especially on a solid wall in a pooja room or living area where the black ground won't fight patterned furnishings.

I am Vikrant P. Karyakarte, a professional artist with over 14 years of experience. Painting has been my passion since childhood and my chosen profession. For me, painting is not just applying colour on canvas; it is a way to express what I see, feel, and think. I work across subjects and styles, especially nature, animals, vehicles, and Lord Ganesha. I have also created historical series on Shivcharitra, the Goa Inquisition, and Aryabhatta. My works have been exhibited in India and abroad.
