About the artwork
Despite their great size, elephants prefer to be mostly less aggressive and relaxed. With their gigantic form and incredibly thick skin, they are intimidating and they know it! A good thing about photographing elephants is, that they are always honest with their body language and never deceptive. This elephant here, seems to be relaxed with his eyes calm. In this play of light, this gentle giant can be appreciated for its tough, stony grey exterior patterned with grids and crosses.
