Also referred to as Amer Fort or Amer Palace, this architectural wonder of Rajasthan, boasts of the rich history, astounding opulence and superior craftsmanship exhibited in Rajput architecture. It is a beautiful blend of bold exteriors and beautiful interiors, with enormous ramparts, cobbled pathways and series of gates of red sandstone at the outset and intricately carved panels of marble, mirrored ceilings, statues of silver and more on the inside. The grand palace overlooks the Maota Lake.
