About the artwork

The flower heads at the neck and brow tend to register a beat after the face, and they shift the color story away from simple black and white. On the left, watercolor moves through teal, blue, violet, rust, orange, and pink in cloudy layers, while the larger right sheet stays mostly gray with charcoal like shading and a few soft smudges. The smaller painted rectangle overlaps the larger rounded sheet, so the image feels assembled from two separate paper works placed side by side with a slight cover at the center. Tamanna | Figurative Floral Art shows a long nosed profile facing left, with bent stem flowers rising from the shoulder area and one bloom set near the forehead, which makes the figure read as part portrait and part floral study. Pencil or charcoal lines stay visible through the face, neck, and petals, and the watercolor area is handled loosely with pooled edges and stained transitions that look matte instead of slick under flat light. And the piece would be wrong for a very small room that already has patterned textiles and several competing wall colors.

Mahi Kour

My art transforms fleeting emotions and inner impulses into bold visual narratives. Working with a minimalist approach, I use deliberate compositions and restrained elements to communicate powerful ideas with clarity. Inspired by observation and the release of pent-up energy, my work invites viewers to reflect on their own experiences and discover meanings that evolve over time. I am trained in Design and am currently studing Indian classical music.
