About the artwork

This piece reads best at medium to large scale, where the temple towers and stepped riverfront can hold a clear wall without crowding nearby decor. It suits a living room, foyer, or a long hallway with some viewing distance, and it can fade on a cramped wall because the pale water and soft edges need space around them. The subject is the Varanasi ghats, with temple shikharas, old riverside buildings, boats, birds, and a few small figures spread along the bank. And the river line in the foreground keeps the architecture from feeling heavy, while the steps and low boats pull the eye back toward the clustered shrines at center. The palette stays mostly in saffron, sand, beige, and smoke blue, with small dark accents in the boats and figures. The color balance feels quiet but not flat, since the cool haze at left softens the warm stone and gives the water a thin reflective shimmer near the shore. The title Saffron Temples By The Ganges fits the image's warm riverbank glow. The technique appears to be watercolor, using broad washes, soft bleeding edges, and dry, darker strokes to define windows, steps, hulls, and flags. Hang it where side glare is low, so the light passages in the water and sky don't wash out against a bright nearby window.

From a young age , I was captivated by the world of arts. It was in these serene, natural surroundings that I found the courage to embrace my artistic passion fully. The strength and resilience I witnessed in nature taught me to push forward, even in the face of challenges, and pursue my dream of becoming a professional artist.
